Our Story

Marti’s Coffeehouse exists for warmth, connection, and the kind of community that feels like coming home. It’s rooted in Ethiopian-inspired hospitality and intergenerational gathering, creating a space that moves away from division and toward shared humanity, art, and culture. It’s named after my late sister, the kind of person who always had a café table full of friends and time for everyone. She loved photos as memories. Holding onto moments. Remembering people as they were, together. For her, coffee was never just coffee. It was presence. It was memory. It was connection. A family business was always part of her dream. Inspired by Ethiopian coffee culture, where conversation lingers long after the cup is empty, Marti’s carries that feeling into a space that’s slower, softer, and intentionally human. This is both a tribute and a continuation. A place to rest, to gather, and to leave feeling like something in you was remembered.
